PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY - (December 16, 2014):  Scott Mathis, Chairman & Founder of Algodon Wines & Luxury Development Group ("Algodon Group"), announces a preview of Algodon Wine Estates' line of wines for 2015.  The new line-up includes Algodon’s new blend, "OCHO (8) Fincas", which was recently introduced to the Chinese wine market at the Guizhou International Wine Fair and at China's ProWine China 2014 in Shanghai, one of the world's leading international trade fairs for wine and spirits.

“We look forward to showcasing our 2015 wine line in the Chinese wine market, which by 2016 is expected to be the world's top wine consuming country,” says Mathis.  “We have the potential for some real superstars in this line up, though many of these wines will be numbered and limited production only.  We are very excited about the future opportunities in both the U.S. and Chinese wine markets.”

Algodon Wines' OCHO (8) Fincas is a cuvée hand-harvested from several original independent family farms, which date as far back as 1946, and which today compose the basis for what is now Algodon Wine Estate's 325 acres of productive vineyards.  Algodon Wines' OCHO (8) Fincas is comprised of 50% Malbec, 20% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Syrah from grapes that have been selected by hand from Algodon's old farms.

Algodon’s complete 2015 line-up includes OCHO (8) Fincas, Malbec-Bonarda, Malbec-Cabernet Franc, PIMA, and SUPIMA, as well as Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc, and Malbec-Cab Franc, as well as the sparkling varieties of Chardonnay-Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay-Pinot Noir Rosé.  The line will also include Algodon’s classic varietal selections such as Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir, as well as Chardonnay and Malbec-Bonarda Rosé.

Algodon Wines are currently available in over 200 sales points in Argentina alone, as well as Toronto, Canada, and in select countries in the European Union including Germany, Amsterdam, Denmark and Switzerland, as well as the United Kingdom. In the U.S., Algodon Wines are sold online via www.orderwinedirect.com.
